Last year Emma one of our forum admins stepped down from forum moderator on Computer Chat as she moderates other forums. So we had to look for a new moderator. We had offers from members, and we now have Peter Murphy as our new moderator who also is an admin on another forum.
When you are running a forum you don't just give moderator or admin positions to every member that askes to be made a moderator. I am also an admin on another forum. And we have had problems with some moderators who either were inactive or let power go to their heads. So now I am careful at who I trust with moderator posts.
